About the author:
Sara Eggleston grew up in Munday, Texas, learning how to make bread, strain milk, churn butter, and memorize the Bible from her mother. Sara's hard work ethic developed early through helping her father and brothers work the family farm. At eighteen, she married her first husband, whose character defects she would only recognize over time as these dragged her and her daughter through two decades of nonstop chaos and terror that even involved, for a time, protection from the Mafia by the FBI.

She was involved with education for more than thirty years as a teacher and then as an administrator. She received several presitigious awards. In 1982, Sara married Frank Eggleston, DDS, a highly-respected Houston Restorative and Operative Dentist, now retired. Today, they travel worldwide, presenting health education talks primarily focused on the value of whole food nutrition.

Sara's purpose in creating this book is to give hope to anyone facing adversity, that out of the ashes of their life God can truly take them to the highest point . . . the zenith of His existence. For He, and only He, CAN raise a phoenix from the ashes of despair and desperation.
